I want more screen time for Snotlout, Ruffnut and Tuffnut since they are so minor in the first movie and they need a lot more love.

You did realize that Eret was with Snotlout, Gobber, Ruffnut and Tuffnut when they threw the sheep at the evil Bewilderbeest right? So it means that he turns around and turns good eventuall;y. Or at least helps the main guys out.
