Derik grabbed all of the fish he could fit into 2 buckets and made for the pens the dragons were kept in. After ensuring he was safe in the arena he let one out, grabbed a fish and slowly walked towards it, fish out first. "Nothing to be scared of... I just want you to trust me."

Derik looks around for the harbour and heads there to try and find some fish and a bucket. After he spots it, he power walks to it and finds what he's looking for.

<t>Derik smiles as he hears another set of footsteps behind him. He keeps going to the dragon stables and thinking about how he might make them trust him. Overall, he had nothing to go on except present food and approach slowly with it until they trust him. He wondered how the other riders he'd hear...

Derik starts looking around for the night fury that seemed to have disappeared since he got there. He decided to go to where a lot of the dragons were held and start seeing how to appeal to them. He wanted to see if his ideals would actually work on a larger scale.

Derik walks by Tyra. He doesn't notice her, still deep in thought. He sneezes abruptly, knocking him out of his trance for a second. He looks around, slightly confused. He gets his bearings and continues the way he was going.
