twelve days north of hopeless

 the paper wrinkled because I had to scan it out of a sketchbook and I am STUPID :l I was sketching out Toothless and I liked how this looked so I pulled out my watercolors and colored it. I don't know what he's looking at :p The red stuff was just me being an idiot and coloring the space I had planned to leave blank (I didn't want to have him in his saddle and tailfin and everything) but then I sort of liked it so I ended up painting it like that. Anyway, any comments or tips for me to improve? I just started using watercolors for the first time since kindergarten last month so my stuff isn't as good as I'd like it to be. when I'm done sitting around watching SNK I'll go scan it again and make sure the paper is smooth but for now I'm just too lazy :p |

Yeah, the tail is pretty fun to do xD It gives kind of a phantom effect, as if he's seeing something that's not really there. it would be awesome if more people did it, I think it looks really cool. |
