Hello Fellow Berkians

This will be a thread dedicated to my progress of making my own version of the Book of Dragons that I am calling Project Scribe. This book will only include dragons from the Movies and Tv shows, video games and comics are not being considered as cannon even if they are.

Ill try to put up and update every week but is subject to delays or changes while I'm in school.

If anyone has ideas or suggestion I am always open to hear and consider them and thank you in advanced for them.

Hey all so this update is for the dragon information layout

So for this layout I decided to use the httyd fandom wiki with the side bar on the right that lists
- Class
- Fire type
- Features
- Ability
- Color
- Size
- Wingspan
- Diet
- Habitat
- And lastly the point scale for the dragons statistics

Then Ill go to weaknesses, behavior and personality, and trainability and copy/ sum up the information in these sections. Adding any more important info if i deem it necessary.

I also plan on doing the 1st information part on one page with sketches for certain dragons (the ones i can find sketches to use) and the paragraph part on another page with maybe one more sketch at the bottom.

Thank Thor for the HTTYD wiki! I'm also using it for my own Book of Dragons.

Could I recommend Adobe Comp? If you have an iPad or iPhone, you can download it for free, and it's really cool. 8)

Here are my pages for the Deadly Nadder which I made with the app on my iPad. (Sorry about the quality, they don't look this bad in my camera roll.)

You could also get Fotosketcher for free (and it doesn't include a trial, which means you can keep it for as long as you want :D) on your laptop (Windows or MacBook), which can convert an image into a very realistic colour sketch, along with other effects. All you need to do is find a picture of one of the dragons from the internet (like the Deadly Nadder above), and it will turn it into a drawing. You can even save parameters for a specific effect, which is very useful if you want to convert lots of images at once.

Hopefully you can share some of your work soon! :)
Books are like dragons... if we do not believe in them, and read them, they will cease to exist.
How then will we learn the language and understand the stories of the dear dead ghosts of the past?

I dont remember if I mentioned this but this book will be all by hand, with a charcoal pencil, in viking runes ( an alphabet I made), the alphabet will be in the back of the book for decoding because over time I will prob forget but yeah all 43 dragons will be classified, sketched and ranked by hand for this book.

Thanks for the support everyone!!!

Wow, you definitely have more patience than I did :P I tried to do that, but it was too difficult, so I decided to do it digitally.

Good luck ^_^
