Cetus - Might be a good name for a Bewilderbeast; it means 'sea monster'. This might be a good name for Valka's Bewilderbeast in a fanfic I'm writing- of course, you're welcome to use it too!

Edit: added to the list (I found out the meanings of these):
Orpheus - Greek name derived from orphe - "darkness."

Adra - "From Adria" the Adriatic sea region. Also means "dark" - I think I might make this be the name of Drago's Bewilderbeast- even though it's a female name - in a fanfic I'm currently writing but hasn't been uploaded to FanFiction yet.

Ceto - Female version of Cetus, meaning "goddess of the sea" - which makes sense considering that the Bewilderbeast is considered - at least by dragons - to be a god of sorts; and it lives in the sea, so it's 'of the sea'.

Thinking about it, it's one of my favourites too. But some of my other favourites are Orion (I think that's beautiful ), and Eridani- I think I spelled that right. And also Cetus, because I like that it means 'sea monster', and I just think it's a really cool name for a Bewilderbeast.

I agree with The Norse Nerd! My favourites are Izanami, Mani and Mara (maybe they could be siblings? ) , and maybe Keres. Thanatos and Tartarus sound awesome, and I think Erlik would be quite a good name for a Viking. Banshee and Vanth are awesome too, but I think the most epic one in the list of male names meaning 'death' has got to be Orcus.

Shango is... okay... I like Tialoc, and Mulungu sounds awesome, and Aplu and Ukko are too!

All the female names for 'lightning' sound very beautiful, and I haven't named a Skrill OC of mine yet in an upcoming fanfic, and I'm kind of leaning towards making it a female, so I'm thinking of calling her either Taara, Alamei (I just found out that El Alamein is actually a town ), Indra, or Oya. Actually, I might call her Indra because that sounds a little like 'indigo', and she's going to be indigo- which I think is the standard colour of Skrills.

Great names, hard to choose.
