I’ve had quite a few HTTYD related dreams. Here’s the most recent HTTYD related dream that I had, along with some background information to help you understand part of it better. Since it’s all rather long, I’ll put it under a spoiler.
Spoiler: click to toggle A green Western dragon and I were in an area that was near a few cliffs. I was sleeping on the ground beside the dragon and the dragon had one of its claws wrapped around me. The dragon looked at me as best as it could and said, “Aruk. It is time to know who you are.” Out of nowhere, Hiccup and Toothless appeared in front of the dragon. The dragon looked at Hiccup and Toothless. Hiccup asked the dragon, “You’re protecting him?” The dragon answered, “Yes. I was chosen to be his guardian.” Hiccup asked, “By whom?” The dragon said nothing in response.

The dragon that appeared in this dream and spoke to me and Hiccup is a male green Western dragon named Kalahn. Unlike most of the dragons that appear in my dreams, Kalahn is a creation of my subconscious mind (as opposed to being from a work of fiction). He first appeared in my dreams out of nowhere in early October 2009 and I’ve had many dreams about him since then. The dreams that I have about Kalahn always consist of him telling me messages (some of which are trivial, but most of which are deep or wise) and occasionally consist of me riding on his back. Though the dreams that I have about Kalahn are good, they are also confusing in one way: Kalahn always calls me by the name “Aruk” in my dreams even though it’s not my given name. I once asked Kalahn why he calls me by the name “Aruk” and he told me that he calls me by the name “Aruk” because he was told that it was a name that fit with who I am and what I am (and who told him that is something that has yet to be revealed).
I believe that Kalahn is a guide who is trying to help me find myself, find out more about who I am, and know myself as well as I can. He claims to know things about me that I don’t know and that I have yet to know (like who I truly am), which are claims that I always take with a substantial grain of salt. He also claims to be my guardian and he has said that without his guidance and his protection, my soul would be led astray and vulnerable to attacks from demons and evil spirits (which are things that I don’t believe in, just for the record). I tend to be thankful for Kalahn’s guidance and protection, but at the same time, I have a hard time understanding it.
