Hi.. I'm dreaming about a project that merges 3D animations with real footages. I've make static images already, but videos are a whole new challenge.

Here is a little quick-test sequence with a animated toothless model (made by tarch-7). I hope I can show more one day. What do you think?

Lol that's not bad for a first!

The lighting looks really good. You should set a ground under Toothless and make an extra pass for the shadows (I don't know if this is possible in Blender). Then you can simply copy the shadown in your video compositiong program and have them on the snow field.

Btw, Toothless' head jerks a little bit at the end of every movement.
