My parents know and they don't mind. They got me a 6" plush Toothless for my 18th or 19th birthday. They like it too. My younger brother is into it. None of them are as into it as me though. I'm borderline insane. And very much insane about it. My friends know only because the majority of stuff I have on my Facebook timeline is HTTYD 3 stuff. Sadly, I didn't get to see the first two in theatres. I only got into it at the start of 2012

. First thing I'm doing when I get my TARDIS is plonk young me down in the advance screening of HTTYD 1.

Might want to fix that one typo, Light

It's "as into it as me"

Whoops. Thanks, fixed. My keyboard sometimes doesn't type the letter, or sends multiple of the same letter. Annoying, and at times, embarrassing.

That was definitely one of the more awkward errors

My mom is actually even more obsessed than I am. I'm just happy to have someone to talk about it with

Aw, that's awesome!
As for me, I have an older sister who's also into it (not as much as me, but still fun to chat with), a couple younger sisters who are at least somewhat aware that I like it, but don't actually really know very much about it at all, and the rest of my family who really don't know (my older brothers would likely laugh at me). I have some friends from church who are also fans to some extent or another, but the topic doesn't often come up and I don't bring it up.
But I'm wondering if we could perhaps coordinate a road trip to Epic Universe (Isle of Berk) together sometime. I proposed the idea in a grouptext once and got some discussion going, but it kinda petered out before anything was decided. Now that we have an opening date and tickets are available though, I should really mention it again...

My family is more concerned about my httyd obsession than my nic addiction lol. Both are my guilty pleasures. I get my vapes from
Nexus Smoke.

Wow, big family!
Most of my friends are aware, but just how aware depends on the friend. Some of my best friends I met through HTTYD (some on here), so they obviously know… and my parents know, but how could they not, given I have quite a sizeable HTTYD collection now?
And I’m also trying to work out when/how I’ll visit Epic Universe… maybe we should coordinate and have that Grapevine Road Trip that we’ve always dreamed of…

Yeah, there's ten of us, counting the parents.

If we can,

I have half an idea to come and visit a lot of the US next year... visit TheOtherUnknown, see some cinemas that I've been wanting to for ages (cinemas is my other big obsession), and then go to Epic Universe... maybe it can all fit in...?
