Berk's Forumvine

Ok, I'll keep this brief. A while back I made a fanfic, and in it the antagonist (Alvin the Treacherous) had a weapon. He stole the design from Hiccup. The weapon can fire 30 arrows (one at a time) very quickly. (I tried to post the fanfic here a while ago, but people didn't like the style it was written in, so I deleted it all. My post should still be there, but the story is gone)

Imagine my surprise when I watched RTTE and I saw an "arrow catapult" being used by the dragon hunters. I took a look at it and I could see no possible way it could work in real life and obey the laws of physics. Now, I'm not professing to be an engineer, but when I made my designs I think it actually CAN work in real life. (DO NOT BUILD ONE)

It's made out of simple, easy-to-find parts on Berk. In my fanfic, every Outcast ship had four of these mounted on the deck. The flagship had ten. So, I refined my designs and am putting this out here to look at and judge.

I think it will work. It would be a challenge, but Hiccup is smart, he could do it.
