I know that you all totally want to cook like Valka, Astrid, and the Twins, so here's a series of cooking tutorials! Only the first one is done so far, but we're hoping to make more.

We're starting out with food that wasn't actually featured (but let's face it, they probably cooked like this). But once we get better at making terrible food, we'll move on to things like yaknog, Valka's meatballs, the Twins' salty fish, and yak dung tea.

The only way I survived this experience was by not actually putting my mom's good bread pan in the pellet stove (for long), and by not actually wasting food -- that would've gotten me in trouble for sure. I ate it at the end.

Ack....with the cup and a tablespoon of salt in it?

Yep, with all that salt in it!
