I actually have a runic font (the one that was used here on Loki Day), but the problem is that it's actually a Viking runic font. Most of the runes look nothing like their Latin couterpart. :ermm:

I’ll try looking for a font. :)
Books are like dragons... if we do not believe in them, and read them, they will cease to exist.
How then will we learn the language and understand the stories of the dear dead ghosts of the past?

I've decided to continue posting in this thread including the Dragon Chat, so Dragonrider's Fury, I will post my reply to you about my dragon-nip idea.

Where would you buy/gather dragon-nip though?

I'll just repost here what I said in the chat.

I mean, in HTTYD, Hiccup found a whole field of it out in the wild, so... :P

Sorry, I didn’t realise that you replied to the chat. :)

I guess dragon-nip could just be found in fields then, but fields aren’t common locations in HTTYD. :/

BooksAreLikeDragons, on the Dragon Chat:

Since I’m going to be one of the sound engineers, it would be useful if you could write a list of the sounds that I need to get. :)
Okay, some required sounds include, but are not limited to:
  • Dragon noises (We're going to need a lot.)
  • Wind sounds
    • When flying
    • When standing outside
    • When standing inside
    • ...
  • Water sounds, both calm and violent
    • Surf breaking on a beach
    • Waves crashing against a cliff
    • Stream trickling
    • River roaring
    • Waterfall
    • Fish splash
    • Big splash (For cases such as your dragon/player diving into the water)
    • ...
  • Fire noises
    • Dragon fire
    • Campfire
    • Forest fire?
  • Turf noises
  • Clothing rustle?
  • Weather noises
    • Light rain outside
    • Light rain inside
    • Heavy rain outside
    • Heavy rain inside
    • Thunder
    • Blizzard
    • ...
  • "Environment" noises
    • Birds
    • Insects (Such as cricket chirp, for night)
    • Trees/branches rustling
    • Grass rustling
    • Village/crowd sounds
    • ...
  • ...
Yeah, there are a lot of sounds that will be required. :P

The majority of those seem easy to get, but the dragon noises are slightly more difficult. I'm hoping that hictooth can help me out by getting some of them from Wild Skies and School of Dragons, but I'm not sure about the others. I was thinking about going through every HTTYD film that I have (including the short ones and Riders/Defenders of Berk), getting every dragon sound, and using audio editing software to isolate the background, but there must be an easier way to do it. I'll see if there's some way to rip audio from a DVD.

I'm guessing that the other sounds need to be copyright-free? And would it be okay if I downloaded some (or most) from YouTube?

Should we say that the sounds should be about 1 minute long? (Obviously they will be looped in the game.)
