Character Story/Description: Tall, Athletic Build, Storm Grey Eyes, Black,Straight Hair of about Hiccup's Length. Vlad, being the child he was, was always a loner. After his parents were killed in a fire caused by his brother when Vlad was 10 he became even more so. His brother, who was 16 at the time, ran away leaving Vlad to care for himself. Refusing to allow any of the other villagers to care for him and using skills taught to him by his Father and Mother he built his own little hut and fed himself on fish, wild animals and fruit caught in traps and gathered from the forests of his island. He took to taking long walks through the forests on his island, adventuring on his own where he could be alone with his thoughts. One day he ventured too far North of his island and became lost. Unknowingly travelling further North he became caught in a snowstorm and had no choice but to spend a night in one of Dead-Man's caves. It was here he found his dragon partner for life, Volt. Volt had been trapped as a baby in a mass of ice in the cave. While trying to get warm by making a fire, he unknowingly thawed Volt. Vlad strongly remembers the smell of ozone and then being near electrocuted. Volt and him have been best friends ever since. Now, 9 years later from the day he lost his parents, he is the Leader of the Dragon Training group on his island. He recently found out, however, that his chief, having no children of his own, has decided to pass down his role to Vlad once he comes of age (25). Vlad still worries about his brother, who last he heard of was staying on Tunnel Island, home to The Whispering Deaths. Hobbies include Reading, Fishing, Archery, Dragon Training and Learning to Chief.
Fun, Light-hearted, Welcoming, and Kind to friends but also a Strategic Thinker, Tough, Cold-Hearted and Merciless to enemies. He is hardly ever caught without a plan and hardly panics (well maybe sometimes ) Most of the times however, he reflects the personality of his dragon, Volt and prefers to be alone with his dragon and his thoughts rather than in a crowd or with friends. Like his dragon he prefers to hunt and fight alone and enjoys the thrills of battle. Loves a mystery and delights in adventure with his dragon. He is Light-Footed and Quick on his feet.

Tribe Description & Location: Stormshard island is located to the North of Berk on the outskirts of The Meridian of Misery. The village is located on the Southern Shores of the island with the majority of the island being covered in forests and mountains. Mostly wooded forest with evergreen forests to the Northern most part of the island. The Northern face of the island is made up mostly of sheer cliffs that drop off into the ocean with a small mountain range bordering the south-western coast. Most of the interior Northern part of the island is mountainous. The tallest point on the island is Shard mountain (which resembles a broken shard of glass and is just as treacherous) which is located to the extreme north east of the island. Lover's point is located to the centre of the island and consists of the largest lake on the island and the island's only waterfall (except for around the coast). The island contains an unknown interconnected cave system that runs underground and has entrances an exits on all parts of the island.

Dragon Story/Description: Volt was found and accidentally thawed by Vlad 8 years ago in a cave while Vlad was trying to wait out a Blizzard a lit a fire in the cave to keep warm. He has been Vlad's dragon ever since.Being one of the first tamed Skrills, Volt is still a bit on the wild side and not quite accustomed to the life and routines of the people on Stormshard Island. Volt is an intelligent dragon and understands human speech well. Extremely protective towards his rider Vlad and easily agitated, he is always on the lookout for danger and must patrol Vlad's house three times before bed. Impatient and easily angered he is not a lover of games. Preferring the thrills of the hunt and battle, he always has a plan even when Vlad doesn't. He is prideful and should not be insulted face-to-face at any cost. He will never give up and fight to the death unless his rider instructs differently. Once you get to know him however he is a loyal friend and keeps good company. He hates water but has a soft-side for Salmon. He may seem bad to some but means well at heart.
PS. He becomes excited during storms as he is brought to full power and has been known to unknowingly release blasts of stored electricity from his skin. Is bigger than the average Skrill for his age and the iridescent purple hue present in all Skrills is a little more defined on the underside of Volt's wings.
Dragon Abilities: Only known Skrill that has the ability to use Echo-Location
Extra Notes: Vlad usually wears black and a belt containing pouches for holding small items and two daggers. Vlad is allergic to Blue Oleander just as the dragons.Has a weakness for shiny/valuable gems and anything purple.Weapons of choice- Bow and Arrows (assorted arrow types) and Twin Daggers (carried on belt, wrapped in cloth to prevent electrocution while riding).

Character Story/Description:Tall, Muscular build, Storm Grey eyes, Long, Straight black hair usually kept in a pony-tail. Vlad ran away after causing a fire that killed his parents at age 16. Vlad always felt as though his parents loved his little brother more. One night, much to the horror of his parents, he went off with a group of traders on his island to hunt dragons (a practice which was banished from his tribe many years before he was born). He then proceeded to bring home home his kill (A Deadly Nadder) and place it on the dinner table where his parents and his little brother Vlad was having dinner. Disgusted at what he'd done his father told him to leave and never return. In a fit of blind rage he took up one of the burning embers from the fireplace and threw it at one of the walls of the hut. It did not take long for the hut to catch fire and he turned and ran off.His parents tried to put out the fire but to no avail. When a burning log from the rooftop fell on his mothers legs trapping her his father told Vlad to run while he got his mother out. He never did and they were both lost. Arcturus took a boat that night and left the island. After days out to sea he had no choice but to stop on Tunnel Island. It was here that he tamed his dragon, Banshee, the resident Screaming Death. The news of his brother's appointment to chief to be made him realize it was time he took what was rightfully his, his place of birth. Knowing that he was now an exile from his old home, he knew what he'd have to do.... claim the entire island for himself.
Tribe Description & Location: Tunnel Island is located to the west of Stormshard Island and is the home of The Whispering Deaths. The island contains few forests but is mostly mountainous and barren, with caves and with many tunnels created by the Whispering Deaths. Much of the land is very unstable due to these tunnels. The island also contains a somewhat active volcano to is West.

Dragon Story/Description: Looks like a regular Screaming Death with a huge scar on his snout from a fight with a group of rogue Timberjacks. How he and Arcturus came to be Rider and Dragon is unknown (for now).

Extra Notes: Arcturus has burn scars on his right hand from picking up the hot ember on the night of the fire.
