1-The number one rule is that the only posts on this topic are announcements by me or are part of a scene all other messages are to be sent in private chats. (no matter what this rule cannot be broken changed or twisted)
2-YOU MUST READ EVERYTHING, THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY SO THERE WILL BE NEW THINGS TO LEARN ABOUT EVERYTHING(from the posting of these rules to the newest post every detail and relationship/character development is important)
3-New writers must first come to me (private message) before contributing

4-New OC's and backstories must be approved by me (private message)
6-Any new species of Dragon must be approved by me (private message)

8-Keep pre-existing characters true to their pre-existing personalities.
9-You cannot take control of someone else's invented character
10-You cannot control a claimed character, to claim a pre existing character as your own

11-Ideas for new scenes, situations and plotlines must be approved by me (private message)
12-When roleplaying speak in the 3rd person, either the present or past tense.
13- NOBODY dies... 'nuf said.
14-If you do something I don't like, ie if it's out of the ordinary for the HTTYD universe, too dark, too graphic etc. I will revoke your post by using the notation: [PREVIOUS STATEMENT REVOKED]
15-If you need a break call an intermission using the following notation: [CALL INTERMISSION] this is only temporary.
16-If you have to leave mid-scene use the following notation: [CALL LEAVE] (no reason is required, I will write your part for you) But to prevent this from happening be as sure as possible before starting a scene that you can finish it
17-If we must stop and resume the scene at another date, I will say [CALL STOP AND RESUME] and I will post a later date of resume.
18-If no one is present I will continue the story but will include no invented characters besides my own.
19- If you want to have a created character introduced within the plot tell me (private message)
20-For now at least, if I am not present, no scene will be acted out.
21-Above all, be creative, have fun and keep it interesting
22- You may message me/another writer in the thread during a scene using [with your message inside] but once I acknowledge that it is seen you must edit it out of your post.
23- Humans can speak to humans. Dragons can speak to dragons. But they CANNOT speak to each other. Of course humans and dragons have their ways of understanding each other.
24- Due to the scheduling for scenes and the high possibility that a user could be missing, I have the authority to take control of another writer's OC but ONLY for their intro scene, and that is ONLY if the user is unable to post (I'm not happy about this either, it's the last thing I want to do but it's just to keep the scene in action, as an interruption like a user being offline for just a few hours could really slow us down )-I will try my hardest not to let this happen.
25- In any scene besides an OC's intro scene, if a user is offline, their OC's will not feature.
26- You can request to postpone an intro scene by 24 hours to avoid this rule (#24) coming into effect but if the postponing doesn't suit me, I can't go through with it.
27- If you arrive late to a scene in progress and your character is not present, don't just magic them there, give them a good intro that makes sense before you start speaking as them.
28- When dragons talk please denote their words in Italics (eg- "Hi there.")
