"Oh yeah?" Tuff mocked. "If cod livers was last month's smell, what is it now? 50-year-old tuna gizzards?"
Then, looking down at the prisoner, he said, "Did you say we could die? I LOVE a good death trap! Let's go, sis!"

When she heard her brother say, "death trap" Ruffnut was hooked, "Yeah!" she cried enthusiastically pumping her fist in the air.
Ottar could not understand the twins, but at least it got them to help so he rolled with it. He figured the twins had no intention of helping any passengers of the ship but Venomjaw could always grab them in his talons if there weren't too many.

Barf and Belch took off at full speed towards the sinking ship. Ottar held onto the spikes on Venomjaw's back extra tight, his eyes were set on the two figures he saw on the ship's rapidly disappearing deck. Barch swerved wildly right and left, obviously Ruffnut and Tuffnut were trying to make this mission ten times more dangerous. Ottar just hoped Venomjaw wouldn't throw the Zippleback off balance and send them all plummeting into the icy cold waters below.

Ruffnut finally saw the two people on the ship and turned to Tuffnut, "What should we do about them?" she asked pointing to the silhouettes on the deck who seemed to be knee deep in water.

"I don't know, but this is awesome!!!" Tuffnut cried in thrilled delight. Then the full impact of his sister's words sank in. "Wait," he said, suddenly serious, "What should we do about them? Barch can't carry two more prisoners. Uh... I've got nothing. Any ideas?"

Ruffnut's eyes widened, "Uh oh," she murmured.
"A little slow on the up take, am I right?" Ottar whispered to Venomjaw, gesturing to the twins. He couldn't resist quoting Tuffnut's insult towards him and hurling it right back.
"Comin' in hot and blowin' out snot!" a sudden shout rang out. Ottar looked up to see a red Monstrous Nightmare with a rider a few feet above them. The Monstrous Nightmare folded its wings and dove downward towards the sinking ship. As it rushed past Ottar and the twins the Nightmare's rider could be heard calling to them, "5,000 pounds of flame and muscle coming through!"
"A friend of yours?" Ottar asked the twins.

"Nah, just someone we've known all our lives, hang out with, enjoy being around -well, most of the time-" Tuff snickered, "confide in, and trust... to some extent. Isn't that right, Sis?"

"Yep," Ruffnut nodded.
"I see," Ottar murmured, he was more concerned about watching the Nightmare dive. Hurry up, he thought, the boat's passengers were almost completely submerged, just keeping their heads above water. The Nightmare unfurled its wings, stretched out its talons and plucked the two people out of the water. Ottar sighed with relief.

Afterward the Nightmare spun around and flew up to where Barf and Belch were flying. "Where have you two muttonheads been?" its rider, Snotlout, asked Ruff and Tuff. "Hiccup made us go looking for you two because he was worried you'd get into trouble, imagine that. And who's that?" he asked pointing to Ottar who was trying to tell if the people in Hookfang's talons were alright or not.

"Us? Get into trouble? Ha! Like we'd ever get into trouble. As a matter of fact, young Snotlout, we've been being very useful. We have here a prisoner, whom we caught trying to sneak into New Berk. If it hadn't been for my quick thinking and brilliant planning, he would have snuck in right under Chief Hiccup's very nose!"

Snotlout looked dubiously first at Tuffnut then at Ottar who was facepalming.
"What do you mean, your quick thinking and brilliant planning!?" Ruffnut exclaimed, glaring at Tuff.
"Maybe," Ottar changed the subject to avoid listening to yet another one of the twins pointless arguments, "we should get these two," he gestured to the two people hanging from Hookfang's talons, "back to your island. It appears they've passed out, probably due to the freezing water. We should make sure they're alright, I presume you have a healer on your island?"
