Berk's Forumvine

I decided to do a total How to Train Your Dragon Marathon, starting with the first movie, then watching all the shorts, then on to Riders of Berk, followed by Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge, and finally HTTYD2, of course!

Does anyone else do this once in a while, too? I get in a total Dragons mood and then it's ON.

I'm in the middle of one right now actually, though I only have access to RTTE and HTTYD 2

Indeed. I'm doing this right now, in fact. I'm up to RTTE S6: Triple Cross.

When HTTYD2 came out, I started with the first movie, then ROB and DOB, then saw the second movie in theaters.

I plan to do one near the end of the year, leading up towards the release of the third movie.

We should do a marathon with the whole forumvine right before dragons 3 comes out. Like the RTTE streams, except with dragons 1, ROB, DOB, RTTE, Dragons 2, and “rescue riders” (if that happens).

Out of curiosity, how long would this take? I usually do HTTYD 1 and 2 in one sitting, but never the TV shows too because I feel like that'd be a LONG time. Has anyone calculated it?

No, but each episode is around 23 minutes. So, with 20 episodes each for the first 2 seasons, (That's 40), and 13 episodes each for the next 6 seasons, (Let me see, that would be... 78 minutes episodes), it would take you aproximately... 118 minutes (or 2 minutes shy of 2 hours) It would take about 2,714 minutes (45 hours and about 15 minutes) to watch the entire TV series!

Perfectly doable! Not really.

(Thanks to Tuffnut'sChicken for bringing to my attention the fact that my math was all screwed up. That's what you get when you write 'minutes' instead of 'episodes'. Very stupid of me.)

Hmmm... More like 2,714 minutes.

With 40 episodes in Riders/Defenders of Berk and 78 episodes in Race to the Edge, that's 118 episodes.

At 23 minutes/episode, that's 2,714 minutes, or a little more than 45 hours. So if binged start-to-finish, it could be done in slightly less than two days.

Oh, yeah, you're right. Man, I got my math screwed up. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
(It feels really bad to have my mistaken math corrected by a chicken. Ouch.)
