DAMN that is a long time! I can barely sit through two consecutive Harry Potter movies so I don't understand how people have the patience to do marathons haha. Thank you for doing the math though!

Oh, yeah, you're right. Man, I got my math screwed up. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
(It feels really bad to have my mistaken math corrected by a chicken. Ouch.)
I do that all the time, so no worries

I can't speak for anyone else, but I, for one, just watched a handful of episodes a night, and had it done by the time the second movie came out. Of course, it'll take longer now with RTTE.
I can't bing-watch anything for too long, or I get a headache.

The most I’ve ever marathoned was Hobbit and LoTR for a grand total of 18 hours and something

Hmmm... More like 2,714 minutes.
With 40 episodes in Riders/Defenders of Berk and 78 episodes in Race to the Edge, that's 118 episodes.
At 23 minutes/episode, that's 2,714 minutes, or a little more than 45 hours. So if binged start-to-finish, it could be done in slightly less than two days.
Adding on the two movies, it becomes an extra 2hr 23 minutes, for a total marathon time of 47hr 37 minutes

I've done multiple marathons. Last notable one was Iron Fist and The Defenders in a straight period. I'm planning on a HTTYD marathon after my exams for the year are done (mid November), then again before uni starts next year (which should be a couple of weeks before HTTYD 3 gets released). Obviously, I'm watching 1, the additional shorts, ROB, DOB, GOTNF, RTTE, DOTDR, HTTYD 2. If we get Rescue Riders before then, and it is set before HTTYD 3, then I'll fit that in where it needs to go too.
Should be a fun couple of days
