I have no idea what I'm doing.

I can't download it no matter how hard I try. Every browser I use downloads it as a .mov, which then only opens in Quicktime, and I can't export it to another format because "an unknown error occurs" every time I try. And I can't open the link with VLC as it shows up as 0:00 time.

What can I do? I'm trying to put the trailer in with my reaction video but I can't download it at all.

@Zer0x

Nope, it's still a .mov so it won't work, but thanks for trying to help :)

I just downloaded it from a YouTube mirror.

(Sometimes I hate how complicated Apple makes things. Gah.)

Oh, your problem was the MOV container, sorry. VLC should support this container. You could also try a free video converter like "DVD Free Studio" to convert it into MP4, MKV or AVI.

MOV is the standard apple video container and mostly used for professional video editting. VLC doesn't work because you've tried to open the link to the video with it and not the video itself.

Have you tried my links on the previous page? You should get a .mov file that is around 170mb large. If it's just ~160 bytes large, then it merely contains the link to the actual .mov file.

Also, these are the links for the first trailer (called "trailer B" I think):

http://movietrailers.apple.com/movies/d ... _h480p.mov

http://movietrailers.apple.com/movies/d ... _h720p.mov

http://movietrailers.apple.com/movies/d ... h1080p.mov

and this is our dragon
(oh no not again)
oh isn't it sweet
(i think i have to go)
