those look like really early scenes that were still in development. still cool!! i'm excited to see how things with Ruffnut and Eret will play out

That are pre-rendered scenes without the details and light effects from the final rendering. That's not saying that the scene is in development or not finish. It could be just a low-res version of the scene we will see in the movie.
