So apparently Hotburple dragons create lava slugs. What is with that? I'm really confused about what is mean by lava slugs.

So after googling lava slug this is one of the things I found on it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_slug

So from that I'm guessing their( aka DreamWorks) is using Lava Slug to imply a stream of lava or that the dragon can throw up lava. I guess lava slug sounds cooler/nicer I'm no geologist/volcanologist though so I could be wrong in the assumption. Also considering this franchise as a whole I wouldn't be surprised if Lava Slug turned out to be something entirely different.

Maybe Lava slugs are a lava version of a Gas Slug?

Actually when you think about it like that think about the name Hotburple also. The name makes quite a bit of sense with that kind of context in mind. Hmm that's actually kind of neat really.
