So just a question does the music that I buy sound better than music you download?

'Cause I downloaded (yeah I know) the soundtrack and I want to know if it would be better sounding by iTunes buying...
Depends on your hardware. YouTubes best audio bitrate is 192kbit/s @ 720p & 1080p, iTunes have 256kbit/s and CDs have 1411.2kbit/s. The best quality have uncompressed FLAC files with 24bit and 48kHz.
But honestly, everything over 192kbit is senseless, you would need a ~$15,000 setup and many jears of experiences with high end music to hear a difference.

I think it sounds amazing from what I've heard. I preordered the Walmart Special Edition (that comes with the magazine, posters and dragon patch) on Tuesday and it should arrive tomorrow! I'm probably going to rip it as well for the quality. It's worth being able to hear all the instruments.
check out my httyd 2 playlist on 8tracks!
