Are the opening weekend figures only taken from the US and Canada? Because obviously it hasn't been released elsewhere yet, so does income from other countries's opening weekends only count towards the overall profit?

Seriously, all the time those stupid parents have something else to complain about.
I doubt they would care about it if it was a Disney movie.

Stupid parents? I think parents are allowed to gauge what their kids are ready for and what they aren't.

Depends on the parents really. Plenty here like to complain about Frozen because it is Disney. As if that makes it some sort of inferior being of a film. Not sure why, but hey.

But for the most part, it is about whether the little ones see the trailers and/or tv spots and beg their parents to go see the dragons, or the princesses or the Lego people, so on and so forth. My mother rarely checked the content of films when I was a kid, especially animated ones. I still remember watching TDK with plenty of kids in the theater, and being a bit shocked by it. If you are a parent that does, perhaps this information might make you think twice about taking younger kids. Nothing wrong with that.

I've made a pact.
If HTTYD 2 wins an oscar or beats Frozen, I will do my victory dance (<- really embarrassing) in front of my class and wear pink (<- EUgh) for the rest of that week.
Wait... If you win then you will do your victory dance and wear pink for the rest of the week?
It seems like you hope that HTTYD2 will not beat Frozen! o.O

For me I think HTTYD2 beats Frozen in everything, but I doubt that it will beat it on Box Office. Because Disney created Frozen I think more parents are taking their kids to Frozen than to HTTYD2... The name "Disney" has a big influence on parents...
