Hey! I am wondering if anyone is going to special screenings of Dragons 2 before it's official release? My family is making plans to see it on June 6! I was so happy! don't worry, I won't spoil it for any of you. I am seeing it in IMAX here in Australia 13 days before it's release! Is anyone else doing this?

Edit: Note, after re-reading this I realized it sounds a lot like I was showing off or trying to make you guys jealous. Just so you know I'm not. sorry if it sounds like I am... I just want to know if anyone else is doing this.

We have a similar thing going on in the UK, but it comes out on Father's Day, so I'm going to see it with my dad. Then I'm going to see it again, with my family, when it's officially released! I think it's July 4th for the UK, and June 27th for Scotland and Ireland.

The film isn`t realesed until the 4th of July here, and I`m not able to see it any sooner.

Yes indeedy; IMAX Sydney on the 6th as well. \o/

Given the non-trivial number of advanced screening sessions—in Australia at least, it looks like IMAX, Event Cinemas, and Hoyts all want a piece of the action—I wonder how this'll affect the film's opening week box office performance.

The screening is happening at Odeon Cinemas.

Well, I've already got a ticket for an advance screening on the 8th, but I see that a different cinema has an advance screening on the 7th that I can get to. I should look into that.

I gotta wait 'till the 20th because of vacation.... but if I'm lucky I can see it in the time I'm in Canada.
