That's great they're finally doing it domestically. I'm not seeing anything about this on their official site though. No list of participating theaters, no news that it's being released anywhere in the US, nothing. Am I missing it somewhere?

No IMAX's around here have it set to be playing.... :/ they have it listed but that's all... and I'm in a pretty populated area of the country...

Ah. Yeah, I am as well, and they're certainly showing the movie where I am, but no true IMAX theaters seem to be as of yet.

Anyone else having... not so much trouble.. but when you plan on seeing the sequel multiple times... and hope for ONCE in IMAX 3-D- you find the IMAX's closest to you don't even have HTTYD2 listed in the weeks following opening week...and find you'd have anywhere from an hour's drive to 2-3 hrs... (not that I mind driving anyway but I prefer home territory over.. closer to a certain huge city...)

How to distinguish a Liemax from an real IMAX:

- The ratio of the screen will be 1:1.85 or 1:1.33 instead of 1:2.15
- You'll see 2 projections on the screen, even in 2D
- The screen is slightly curved
- The screen is at least 20 metres wide

I don't even know if my local AMC will have it in IMAX even though it has an IMAX screen...
