ahhaahah but i totally understand, it was really eloquent and beautifully said but after seeing the movie twice its definitely not an empty line :)

I'm including Valka's entire little ramble when she encounters Stoick, and how she just gets more stammery and frantic and upset the closer he gets without saying anything. I just really like how Cate delivered those lines, very effective!

Stop for a moment and consider how MUCH trust this would actually take. They were mid-flight and mid-battle with a lot of chaos going on around them. If he doesn't react the INSTANT Hiccup prompts him to he would crash at top speed, that had to be frightening for him.*
