Emo sounds and looks nasty. Using numerical spreadsheets to translate a characters rig in x y z sounds god awful. I'm just happy we got to see Apollo used in HTTYD2. I know Emo stood for emotion. So then whats Premo? Pre-Emotion? Also, the name of the lighting software that is part of the Apollo tool suite is called Torch I believe.
Also for those of you guys here that dabble in animation...the whole real time thing of Premo distinctly reminds me of Blender's rendered viewport shading.

It could stand for 'Prime Emotions'.
Yeah, from what I've seen and heard so far is PREMO one of the most powerfull softwares for computeranimation. I wish they would make a demo video or one of the animators could show how it works and how to use it. *cough*
And I think the LibeEE based real time computing engine is a little different to Blenders 'real time' Cycle Render.
