Between Valka and Hiccup, who has the better technique for dealing with and training dragons?
*Keep in mind that Valka has a bit of an advantage, since she's been training dragons for about 20 years, while Hiccup's only been doing it for around 5.

I personally like Hiccup's style better, but I think Valka is obviously really good at it. I love when Cloudjumper helps her down off his back and she just slides down his wing. I really just like how comfortable she is with the dragons. But I love Hiccup and his knack for showing his understanding of them by duplicating it, like the flight suit and Inferno. And I feel like Hiccup, though he loves dragons and being around them, he still has his full sense of compassion and awareness win it comes to humans, were as Valka lost hers a bit.
