I really don't think they'll bring back Stoick. Even if he survived a blast, that doesn't mean he'd survive burning on a ship. Besides, it would completely ruin the story. |

The only significance i saw in Toothless nudging Stoick's hand relates to my theory that Toothless actually blacks out during the periods of control and had no idea that Stoick was dead or that he was involved. He was nudging him in a confused 'why are you on the ground' way and not a 'you are totally faking this and i can tell cause i'm magic' way. |
