How do you think thornado would react if he found out about stoic ' death?
I think he had a closer bond with stoic than skullcrusher.

I personally preferred thornado. I agree,he and stoick had a closer bond, which made it so sad when they said goodbye to each other. Skullcrusher was more like stoick but there was never any real bonding between them. Whereas thornado seemed like a sign that stoick had adapted to the dragons. I doubt we will see him again, however he may come back in the the new seasons, like torch in defenders of berk.

Aww he would be heartbroken! I didn't even consider this, thanks for bringing it up; I really liked Thornado. They really should've just kept Thornado as Stoick's dragon.

There's just so much character development of both the dragons and the vikings in the TV series. Though I found some episodes very questionable with regards to the character consistency of HTTYD1, I really feel like they should've thrown in more references to the TV series in HTTYD2 to remind/confirm that the character building did in fact take place.

We really saw how Thornado and Stoick developed a bond, and the That said, perhaps Skullcrusher will be further developed in Dragon Masters or something.

Also, I had not seen the TV series before the first viewing of HTTYD2. But after watching the entire 2 seasons, subsequent viewings of HTTYD2 really felt like it didn't do the other characters justice.

I agree that we got to see the bond grow with stoic and thornado,but not skull chrusher.
I hope thornado does come back.

I'm not sure how exactly they would show him coming back. I would be impressed if they managed to introduce him again. I hope there are some good skullcrusher and Eret moments if not.
