The only problem I have is that sometimes names can be more local to their origin and hard to translate, which causes this issue; I'm interested to know how 'Fishlegs' and even 'Hiccup' are translated.
I can say for where I live that both names are the same... In the movies. Since the TV show is being translated by different people, the translations don't match between the show and movies. Hiccup is still Hiccup in both while Fishlegs is known as "Ragli-Dag" which really means "Fishlegs". I think I talked about it in the internesinal dubbings thread in "General".
