My family was going to go to Vancouver this week so I bought a Siggraph ticket. Dean DeBlois and the gang are demonstrating Apollo to a bunch of CG geeks! Then they're doing a special showing in the Siggraph electronic theater!

Then the family trip got cancelled. I'm melting into a little puddle on the floor right now.

If anybody knows someone who will be at Siggraph, could they please post notes and pictures? Pleasie please?

I live in the Vancouver area. If I'd known Dean was going to be there I probably would've got tickets (but on second thought it looks extremely expensive, so maybe not).

I wish I could be there. SIGGRAPH is amazing!

I didn't go! Arg! This is so depressing.

I have a big project that culminates this month, obliviated the family trip to Vancouver, obliterated Siggraph for me this year....guess I'll go back to the project, then have a tantrum on the floor, then go web surfing for news.
