So, I've been wondering about this lately. How long after the final battle do you think the epilogue takes place? I mean, that statue of Stoick must have taken months to sculpt, right? What do you think?

Hmm...good point. I've never really thought of that. Probably at least several months, like you said.
My other fandoms summed up in gifs:

"You have the heart of a Hiro and the soul of a Tadashi."

Hmm I never thought about that. It's kinda hard to tell scene as they still seemed to be repairing the houses and stuff.

twelve days north of hopeless

It's got to be at least a month, I don't think they'd be able to carve the statue of Stoick that quickly.
Unless they carved for like, 2 weeks straight without stop.
Find me on tumblr and deviantart!
I have been here an embarrassingly long time

Also, considering they had no soap, Hiccup managed to wash the ash off his forehead.

(If he got acne from that... Even longer... )
Did anybody else notice my signature has shrunk?

Wow!

How long did it take them to make that Thor statue? They're fast workers. :P

I never thought of that also.
Plus the time it took for them to make the stoick banner behind hiccup at the end the race.
Dragons, need I say more.

Hiccup, chief of berc, dragon master.
Toothless, alpha dragon.
You and me bud we can do this, as one.
It's just a zipple misunderstanding

My best guess would be 3 to 6 months. Seems like a logical amount of time for that much work to be done to it.

Exactly! I'd say a couple hours, give or take, for the statue, the Stoick and Skullcrusher picture, and to set up the Dragon Race. Oh and in that time they're already in the proceedings of the race too. 8)

Fast is an understatement for these guys.
