The thing is, as much I would like a happier ending, I would definitely be impressed if he did manage to pull off a good sad ending. Really I mean a good explanation with good coverage; I mean there is a lot to cover there depending on how it's done.
His writing leads me to believe it will be done well either way to be honest, not sure if I think it would be harder to make a happy ending or a sad one.

However it may end, I want it satisfying, but not uber-sappy-happy, maybe a little bittersweet. But if they do make a fourth, maybe they should leave a few loose ends, hanging, a few questions still unanswered, like at the end of KFP2.
But if any dragons ever talk, ever, I will never watch it ever again, and probably chug a gallon of bleach.

I'm pretty sure (at least I hope) that they know better than that, it shouldn't really be a big thing.

Gotta agree with that. What I really want to see is something epic and heartbreaking to end the frachise ie. the dragons going away. That would really make these movies go down in history. Also, more Night Furies! Just because.
