From what I've heard of the music I've heard on Instagram, I'm sure JP will pull off some amazing music as usual. I just hope it follows the example of the first movie rather than the second.

It's hard to imagine what song he'll choose to end the series with. :/
The theme will change. I hope we get some throwbacks to the 1st movie's version. IDK if Jonsi and JP have started work on the song for this movie yet. I haven't found any mention of it other than that it is happening. Whatever the song ends up being, I'm sure I will like it. IDK about the rest of you though.

Ok so am I the only one who didnt like the Ed Sheran trailer. For a bit I thought thag was "the" song they were going with but so happy the jonsi is doing one for the last time.

I also hope they throwback to the 1st and not the second the first movie OST was so much better

Three versions of the same track. One of the 6 new themes for the movie.

Any theories as to what it could be the theme of? I'm currently thinking either the theme for me 8) , or the Hidden World itself.

The music is beautiful! I've seen the movie enough times now to recognise the main theme, and it's just so, so amazing. I'm counting down the days until the soundtrack is released! The music was what I most nervous about going into this movie, because I love the first two soundtracks so much, but John Powell did not disappoint!!!
