Does anyone else think that Berk's dragons return to New Berk due to the epilogue of the 3rd movie?

I don't think they "return" per say, but I'm sure they visit each other. That's what was implied, I think ;)

I'm sure there are those who agree with both our points of view. School of Dragons supports mine.

I'm not really sure whether SOD counts, because it is a game, and probably has to follow that plot to keep the storyline consistent while still including Hidden World elements.

But who knows... I'm certainly okay with your theory being true ^_^

I'm not so happy with the idea that the riders remain separate from their dragons. SOD may be a game but its an official part of the franchise.

Anyway I need to believe that to enjoy the tv series and the first 2 films.

Well, guess not everyone can be happy with the ending. The point is to learn to let go. School of Dragons, even though it's based on the movies and TV series, isn't canon. So, even though it may be an "official" part of the franchise, it doesn't reflect the story of the franchise. I personally don't see why one would need to believe that the riders reunite to enjoy the everything that came before, but suit yourself.

I know its not canon to the films. Doesn't mean its not an official part of the franchise.

Well, I didn't say that, did I? The film and tv series canon is the only overarching story that matters and has any value to the characters.

I don't know about the films and tv series being the only story that matters. But it is the main storyline.
