So I think we can all say the dreamworks dragons was a great spin off. I doubt many fans were disappointed with it despite some flaws. However some episodes really could have done with improvement. So with race to the edge on it's way, tell me which were your least favourite episodes from season one (I'll do one for season two as well, don't worry)

I chose Animal House and Gem of a Different Color.

Animal House was boring and Gem of a Different Color was a Fishlegs centered episode.

Hmmm it's been so long I can't remember what every episode was about. xD

Gem of a Different Color was a Fishlegs centered episode.

Yeah, I didn't really like that one either. I much prefer the Hiccup and Toothless ones.

I'm surprised someone voted for Twinsanity, that was one of the better episodes for me. Oh well, each to their own.

Honestly I quite like a gem of a different colour. But it's mostly just because the changewings are awesome

But what bugs me is that we get so many episodes about snotlout being mean and annoying towards the others

In a gem of a different colour snotlout is mean towards fishlegs
In defiant one snotlout is constantly annoying hiccup
In a tale of two dragons snotlout annoys astrid
Etc etc...

And they all end with snotlout "turning into a good guy"

Is this a running gag or something? Because it's not funny anymore!

That's what makes hiccup and toothless character development episodes like what flies beneath and the eel effect so good, because they're actually centered around the two main characters and not snotlout. It's such a shame that there's only a few of them *sigh*
