If anyone remembers this piece of concept art shown for RttE awhile back


It has now been confirmed to be called an "Eruptodon" in school of dragons.


Looks really dope but strange. Thoughts anyone? Do you think it will appear in the next season?

It looks like there is someone on top of the dragon.

I was guessing from its name that it might shoot fire with a very wide, indirect spew of magma (like an erupting volcano), but the video makes it seem like a night fury-ish blast of energy with a fireball in the middle. Is that just a general animation from the game, or is that specific to this dragon?

Huh. That certainly looks interesting. I don't know about the game, but I'd say it shoot something similar to what Gronckles spit out.

No, not really. The game tries to make the fireball for each dragon as it is in the show. So from what we have, I'm assuming the Eruptodon's fire may be similar to what it is in the game. Though the model may not be finished as that was a hacker with that dragon, but it is very likely that it's the complete model. I guess we'll just have to wait and see

Can't wait to see this new dragon. Is there also a rider on it? looks like it. Already impressed with the Buffalord and the Singewing. This one better have a name before next Friday.
