Just watched Race to the Edge Season 3 finale/cliffhanger! Leaves a lot to think about for next winter. What are the chances that Malla imprisons the riders again, or lets them retrieve the "Great protector" Eruptodon from the Dragon Hunters before the lava destroys Caldera Cay's village?

I think it was a rather stupid move of Viggo to lure Hiccup and the gang to the Defenders of the Wing. It's a short term gain (capturing the Eruptodon) for a long term loss (exposing the Dragon Riders to the Defenders of the Wing, who both have Viggo as a mutual enemy. Easy to see an alliance form, or at least a truce to not attack one another and focus down Viggo and the other hunters).
