Well, "every single building is new" in Berk, so the house itself probably wasn't a big deal to them. While the fact that there was a fire when she wasn't there seemed to scare Astrid, I assume that it was because she was afraid for her family's safety. In that case, perhaps her parents are getting older? Astrid could easily be the baby of the family. Plus, her uncle didn't look particularly young even more than ten years before. |
