So in Maces and Talons Part 1, Hiccup says that the traitor always dies

WELL, Heather was "supposedly" the traitor; however, I always thought a traitor was someone who was orignally on the side of the party that was betrayed. Heather was more like a spy.

Who did believe in the values of the hunters and betrayed them? Dagur.

And he supposedly died...

Mind blown

Yeah, Heather isn't a traitor at all, because she was never on their side!
But for some reason I'm not seeing what's supposed to be so amazing here.... am I just being stupid?

It's just that we never realized that the quote about the Traitor always dying was never aimed at Heather like they "tried" to implicate in the episode. They were using extremely impressive foreshadowing, that none of us (at least in this post so far) noticed.
