It
is very... I don't know, charming? I never expected to become this invested in the Rescue Riders world, but here we are.

I almost look forward to a new season as much as I did when Race to the Edge was unfinished.
And then there's this RR short that's coming out fairly soon, which I'm also really looking forward to. From the synopsis, it sounds quite intriguing. Although, considering the target age for the series, I can't imagine it will be
that high-stakes. On the other hand, however, I never would have expected (in spoiler tags just in case)
Spoiler: click to toggle
the risk of your friend and teammate being burned to death in a volcano
in a series purportedly aimed at preschoolers, so... I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Currently trying to decide if I should try to get my nieces and nephew into Rescue Riders. We've tried with HTTYD before and they weren't that interested (a little too young; maybe we can try again now that the oldest one is

, but since they're head-over-heels for PJ Masks, maybe Rescue Riders would be a good way to indoctrinate them into the world of HTTYD.
Oooooooor maybe they'll just... not want to proceed any further, and will forever assume that their aunts are obsessed with Rescue Riders and not realize that there's more to the franchise. (Though Rescue Riders, admittedly, quite charming and while a very different world, has some cool parts. I think I would've enjoyed it as a kid.)

Ooh, tough one! Yeah, I actually enjoyed RR while it was a thing, but
real DreamWorks Dragons is so much better. The nods to the proper Dragonsverse in RR could help inspire them to get into it... but if they grow up watching RR, they might not be a fan of the higher-realism style. So hard to say!

Yeah, I was surprised, too.
