im bringing this back to life !!! gotnf is still my favorite short, it was really heartwarming and it found a special place in my heart. when i watched it the first time on utube i fell in love with the series all over again. the fact that toothless would rather rely on hiccup to fly then have his own freedom shows how dedicated and how close of a friendship they share together (it sad when fictional characters have better friend then me :( ). this was just a really well done short that they actually couldve turned into a movie. GG Dreamworks!

I still wonder where toothless went in his time away :toothless:
Obviously to retrieve Hiccup's "breast-hat", but I suppose there is the possibility that he did some scouting-around for a mate or something, too. Is it ever really stated how long he was gone? More than three days, Hiccup said, I guess, but does anyone have a precise idea?
