I love How To Betray A Dragon's Hero because there is so much darkness and because of Snotlout's story arc.

hmm.... I kind of like 11 so far a lot because of the little Hogfly, and it's getting pretty epic and Windwaker is there
but I also like when he first met Windwaker (can't remember what # )

this totally just made my night with my headace and all!!!! Yay yay yay yay yay!!!!

Oh! And I finished book 11 in like 2-3 days (first was just reading a little at night then every chance i got in school hehe) it's probably currently tied for my favlurite with the very first book

My best friend borrowed books 1 and 2 Saturday and she's already finished

good thing she's coming up this weekend so she can get more. I bet she'll have them done before the 2nd movie is out:

I love How To Betray A Dragon's Hero because there is so much darkness and because of Snotlout's story arc.

I hated Book!Snotlout (I love Movie!Snotlout though) from the first day I read the series (in 2004) because of his mannerisms, but when Book 11 came out I was interested in his seemingly "good" change of heart in the start of the book. At one point while reading Book 11 when Snotlout is looking at the Black Star and he cried just a little I really felt bad for him, especially when I learned about his background and when he sacrificed himself to save Hiccup.

Did anyone else realize that it wasn't Snotlout who technically betrayed Hiccup but it is Wodensfang? Sntlout redeemed himself and at the end of the book we still know that the Wodensfang and Furious deal is still on.

You might want to put the spoiler thing, some haven't read that book yet. Btw, I agree with you!

What should I write on my signature? Hmm...
I am a Httyd, Gravity Falls and Portal (One and two) fan.
I'm also a bookworm and an introvert.
That was pretty random, but that's me summed up in two sentences.

But secretly I want Snotty to die in HTTYD3 to make the books that much more tied together and because I want people to actually see Snotlout for who he can be instead of this "bully" that a lot of people see him as.

I like the later books better, mostly because they're more serious but have this adorable whimsical air to it, Cressida style. xD plus by now, you've kinda took an emotional turn with the characters. You really feel for them now, and when I say that I don't mean JUST Hiccup, I mean everyone. Cept Exillinor... She's a jerk... But that's besides the point

. Anyway, I can't really choose ... So uh.. Books 8-11. {However book four should be there too...}

That's a really hard question, but my favorite book would probably have to be #11, How to Betray a Dragon's Hero. I cried several times throughout it.

It really was amazing, though. I have a feeling that book twelve is going to be even better, when it comes out. :wub:
