In book 10, Camicazi's friend seem to like Hiccup romanticly.... what? Plus, Alvin's mom called Hiccup Camicazi's boyfriend. Do you guys think we'll see a bit of romance? |

I don't know, but since Cressida's books are usually aimed at younger ages (8-12), I highly doubt any strong romance. I am not calling it childlish, I'm just talking from an outsiders view. |

I would say the age group it's written for definitely plays a part in this not showing up. But I would also say that because of how the Bog Burglars have been written specifically Camcazi herself I wouldn't expect to see any direct romantic stuff pop up. Maybe subtle things like the things the OP pointed out but other than that I doubt it, but who knows I could be wrong. Spoiler: click to toggle

The characters are also young right now, so I doubt we'll see any real romance in the books. Not to mention, there's probably going to be so many battles and dramatic scenes in the final book that there won't be room for romance.

Probably right.... Fishlegs is 15, Hiccup is 14 and Camicazi is 13. That is kinda young. |

Ok, so I haven't really gotten to that book yet I can't find it in mah library. But I doubt they will fall in love. That's actually why I like it. We can focus more on the plot. |

I believe that there will be a more friendship relationship between them through the entire book and maybe after the call back from "Old" Hiccup he might talk about what happened to his relationship. |
