I bought the UK version but omg it was amazing. ^_^

I found this quote from a reviewer of the book and it sums it up beautifully.

'This is a coming of age series, and it's also a love story. Don't mistake me. It's not your traditional love story. It's about a boy whose heart was so pure that he saw the world not as it was but as it could be, as it should be. ~Stuart Dunn

Wow  what a review for the last book.
That was a great review. I couldn't agree more.
Dragons, need I say more.

Hiccup, chief of berc, dragon master.
Toothless, alpha dragon.
You and me bud we can do this, as one.
It's just a zipple misunderstanding

I really enjoyed the imagery, especially when it described the mental states of the characters.
From Chapter Sixteen, Single Combat: "He spoke in Norse, even though he knew Hiccup spoke Dragonese, and there was something dreadful about that, for it was as if he were trying to keep Hiccup as a stranger, something alien to him...
Because he knows he is going to kill me, thought Hiccup with dull terror."
The foreshadowing here and the suspense it creates for the story are incredible!
