It is so hard to resist though XD
No doubt it!

But when I sit down in the cinema and that "This is Berk. Life here is amazing." rolls on June 13 (or there abouts) and I've gone realitively unspoiled, it's going to be TOTALLY worth it.

Eh, this is so wrong :-z I mean the person or persons shouldn't share these pieces of information. I work in an industry where from time to time I have to keep my mouth shut and it has never ever occured to me that I should spoil other people's fun for 15 minutes of popularity or whatnot.
As far as I know the person who is sharing the info was present at the wondercon screening, so they weren't under a confidentiality contract and they don't have the obligation to not tell anything. Anyone who was at the wondercon screening can share info about it, I'm afraid you are thinking about the test screening where as you said people have to keep their mouth shut, this was a publicity screening so no real obligation to hide anything, but some decide to not tell anything, others do but they are trying to tag things and don't mention things to those who don't want to know
I understand it, but I still think it's way better to watch it without any major spoilers and it's hard for some people to resist the temptation. But yeah, I still don't really get why they felt that showing 2/3 of the movie 2 months before its premier is a wise idea.
They must have had their reasons to do what they did.

All we can do is try and navigate the waters between now and when HTTYD 2 hits the theatre and stay away from major spoilers.
