What Shnuckles said was right. She also helps Hiccup map the new worlds he explores and and in the scene that follows the Itchy Armpit one, she gave him moral advice, "What you're searching for, isn't out there, Hiccup. It's in here. [points to his heart]"
Oh, and don't forget the racing scene. I think she's got real personality there, like stealing the black sheep and scolding Snotlout for giving up points.
