I guess this goes here too, technically. :P
Oooh, how did I not not see this before? This is really good!

Edited to add: Is it okay if I download and use the Chicken gif?

And that last Toothless you did is so good as well!

Thanks! And absolutely! I have exactly zero use for it. :P And thanks again! That render started as an answer to a challenge thought up by Reddit/Discord user Jalohaikara: For the 500th Tri-Weekly Toothless Doodle, draw Toothless in 500 seconds. Since "draw" really doesn't work when it comes to 3DCGI, I attempted to pose Toothless (from the T-pose) in 500 seconds. Here's how that turned out:
Spoiler: click to toggle
Unfortunately, I was ultimately too late to submit it for TWTD500, so I just took a little time to refine/polish it into that. :nightfuryegg:

More Ori/HTTYD crossover art! ;) I wanted to render another scene for NetWARIOR's TWTD, but I didn't have much in the way of ideas. So, I scrolled a bit through the #ideas channel on his Discord server, and when I came across "Ori riding Toothless", I had my winner. I therefore did what I could to model the "Valley of the Wind" from Ori and the Blind Forest, positioned and posed Ori and T, and waited a solid four days for the render to finish, completely unable to use my computer for anything. It was annoying, but worth it, I think. The fog should be bluer, but I AM NOT interested in locking myself out of my laptop for another 4 days, so it's fine the way it is. :P

Render Time: 97 hours, 8 minutes, 14.71 seconds, rendering on all 4 cores
Samples: 128 AA, 128 Diffuse, 256 Glossy, 256 Transmission, 128 AO, 128 Mesh Light, 128 Subsurface, 256 Volume

NetWARIOR was out of art to post for the TWTD, so I decided do another piece for it. I had the cute idea of a baby Toothless on the camera lens, so I took SoD's Dusk Fury model and retextured it to look like a Night Fury, then posed it after re-rigging the tongue to be more poseable. (The original is just one bone with increasing influence toward the tip; my edit is three bones along the main length and a bone for each fork tip.) I then added some paw(?) prints and an illuminating skydome, and a little compositing for the Depth of Field effect. ^_^

You may be interested to note that the dragon and the prints are, in fact, on a real lens object (a finely subdivided and thoroughly squashed Icosphere); I wanted to get authentic distortion and whatnot. I don't think it really worked, but it is what it is.

Y'know, might as well post this here, too.

Basically, it's a result of my fellow SoDOff Moderators joking around about the possibility of me becoming "evil" (as I have database access), and one of them saying "EvilFury128" (as my Discord name is DragonFury128). :P
I really love how the lighting worked out here, by the way. <3

Hm, I could post my less-than-polished contest piece here, couldn't I? On one of the SoD revival servers, there was a "Sumarhildr-themed fanart contest", so I envisioned this scene and brought that vision to some degree of reality. For anyone unaware, Sumarhildr (literally "summer battle"; it's Old Norse) was an annual event the last 3? years of SoD's official life, featuring Grimmel's warlords as the primary antagonists and the Dusk Furies as key players. The Monstrous Nightmare is one of my dragons, and the character standing under his wing is my viking in-game.
