Good Names For Night Furies?

How I make my names
 

1. Taking two words

2. Add/remove random letters or translating the two words into same or different languages.

3. Then I piece them together. :)

Say if I want to name a dragon "Nightwing"

I translated moon to Latin and got "noctis", then wing to Greek and got "ftero"

I pieced them together and got "Noctero" ^_^
I suggest "Nychta" (Greek for night, supposedly), "Umbra" (Latin for dark), and "Myrkr" (Old Norse for darkness).

And I've thought about Obsidian as well :P Onyx is also another black gemstone.

im just kinda here well occasionally

I like to use Nael for males, (in my made up language it means 'night') and Ika or Jayna for females.

I also like Kilin for a male, although I've only used it for one minor character so far!

I like the idea of mash up words. They seem a lot easier to think of than names that mean things. :P
I found them on Pintrest, actually. :P
What should I write on my signature? Hmm...
I am a Httyd, Gravity Falls and Portal (One and two) fan.
I'm also a bookworm and an introvert.
That was pretty random, but that's me summed up in two sentences.
