I'm trying to up the anti on what my characters are feeling and what the surrounding around them looks like. I try to put my self where my character is, but it is still pretty hard. |

When I put myself in a characters shoes I either end up feeling sorry for them or think of them in a whole new light. |

Sorry chapter 2 isn't out yet. I was busy yesterday and today is fun night at my church. I will try to finish it before Sunday. |

Here's chapter 2 sorry it took so long Chapter 2 Flying, I love it. It makes me feel free. Me and Toothless burst from the clouds. I can see a new island in the horizon. More to add to the map, I think to myself. Me and Toothless have begun making a map of archipelago hoping to one day discover every island out there. Toothless seems to be enjoying the flight as much as I am. The second we land on that paradise of an island, there's a knock at the door. "Ugh, not again..." I moan. I shove my head into my pillow hoping whoever it is will just go away. But after a few minutes their still knocking. Slowly, I drag myself out of bed. I look over at Toothless who's still asleep. Lucky. I put on my shoe and my prosthetic leg then make my way downstairs. My dad, Stoick, is off on some quest and won't be back for another week, so I don't have to bother being quiet. I open the door and a middle aged woman carrying a blue dragon are right in front of me. When people have dragon problems I'm the one they all come to, but lately it's like I can't ever get a break. "Hello M'am what seems to be the problem?" I ask. "My dragon isn't sleeping. What should I do for that?" I get a better look at the dragon realizing it's a Stonefang. "M'am your dragon is a Stonefang, that's a nocturnal species of dragon. There's nothing wrong with it." Some Vikings can be so stupid. "Ohhh, thanks Hiccup!" she says as she walks away. I walk back inside were Toothless is now wide awake. He starts to wag his tail as I come over to sit by him. "Are you ready for breakfast bud?" The black dragon groans, almost as if saying yes. I give him his basket of fish and cook one for myself. After we have our breakfast the sun starts to come up and Toothless looks longingly at the sky. "Wanna go for a ride Toothless?" He gives me a small roar of excitement as I grab my jacket and lead him outside the house. We take off in the same direction as we did in my dream, west. I give a sigh of relief, I love this. It's nice to get away from Berk for a little while. Just me and Toothless, nothing is better. |
