Update: Quite a short one. :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My father had taught me how to track dragons, but I wasn't very good at it. For such a huge dragon, it didn't seem to leave any footprints.
I commanded the group of dragons which I had tamed from the Nest, to smell it out.
They returned, telling me that they couldn't pick up its scent.
I sighed. I would have to make a trap.
My father had not taught me how to do this; I had taught myself, in secret. Mostly the traps had caught Terrible Terrors, but they weren't worth taming.
Once I had set the trap, I said to the dragons:
"If any of you dare to stray away from the group, and get caught in this trap, I will not come back and save you. Trust me, a slow death from starvation is far better than what I will do to you if you get lost.'

kyt, 18, she/her.

He's mean. ;)

Great work so far!

(there's a typo on line three, sorry to have to point it out > it's = its, because it's means it is.)

The trap must have been very large ^_^

QUpdate:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Go and get breakfast.' I commanded the dragons.
"And what if we find any humans?' one of the beasts asked.
"Take them alive.' I growled.
Eret's Point Of View
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Come on, Eret.' my father called.
"Yes, Father.'
He ran ahead, too fast to catch up with, even though he was twice my age.
"Father! Wait for m-'
Suddenly, five dragons appeared out of nowhere.
"AGGGGGHHHH!' I screamed in terror.
"W-what are you doing here?!' I stammered.
"We're going to take you to our Master.' One of the dragons proceeded to grab me in its claws.
Wait- what?! I don't want to be dragon food!' I protested as I was carried off.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"So, you did manage to capture something?'
"Yes, Master. And we got you some food.'
"We'll save some for our guest. Speaking of which...'
The dragon seemed to know what its master wanted immediately, and dropped me. I was lifted up by my shirt.
"What's your name, boy?'
"Eret... Son of Eret...'
"Well, Son of Eret,' he sneered, 'I have a job for you to do..."

Update:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"I want you to trap some dragons for me, boy.'
"And what if I don't want to trap dragons for you?'
"Then you are clearly not afraid of death.'
I thought it would be best not to reply.
"W-what's your name?'
"The name's Drago, boy. Drago Bludvist. Also known as the Dragon Master.'
"Why do you call yourself that?'
"I'll show you.'
Drago walked out of the cave that he'd been camping in, and the dragons followed him.
"Why are they following you? Why don't they fly away?'
"Fear, boy. Fear of me.'
"Why are they afraid-'
"Terrified.'
'-terrified of you?'
"You'll find out, soon enough.' he replied, onimously.
I did not like the sound of this, at all.
Suddenly, a terrible roaring pierced the morning air.
"RRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAR!"
Drago grunted in satisfaction. His eyes gleamed.
"Looks like we've got one...' he said.
"What was that?' I asked Drago.
"That, boy, was a Bewilderbeast call. It's summoning other dragons.'
As if in answer, the dragons started to fly towards the sound of the roar, almost as if they were in a trance.
To my surprise, Drago didn't command them to come back.
He jumped onto one of the slower dragons, and I got on too, just before it flew out of reach.
"Now... They will lead us to the Alpha..."

Update:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"There it is!' Drago yelled, barely able to keep the evil satisfaction out of his voice.
"Looks like he got caught in the trap...' Eret sighed, shaking his head sadly. He didn't want the dragon to become like...them. He looked behind him at the group of dragons flying behind their master.
Unfortunately, he also made the mistake of looking down. Drago laughed, and pulled the dragon into a dive.
Eret's stomach went into a dive too.
"You'll get used to it soon enough, boy.' Drago said, but his tone wasn't reassuring: almost mocking, even.
Eret tried not to look down, or at the huge beast that they were approaching.
Suddenly, they went into another stomach-dropping dive, and at the last second, just before they hit the ground, Drago pulled on the chain that served as the dragon's reins.
Shakily, Eret dismounted the dragon. Drago was already standing on the ground.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well, boy, go on!'
"What?'
"Walk towards it!'
"What's "it"?'
Drago glared at me.
"The dragon...' he growled, trying to keep his patience.
"Oh, okay- WHAT?!'
"Don't question me, boy...'
"But...but... If I go near it, I'll get killed!'
"Exactly."

Update:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When I saw a Monstrous Nightmare flying towards me with two humans on its back, I was surprised. One sight of me was enough to make even the toughest dragons, and humans, run screaming.
The bigger human of the two appeared to be shouting something in its language. I could tell by the tone of its voice that it was pleased about something. Perhaps it was the one who had caught me in this trap?
They had gotten off the dragon now, and the smaller human was saying something to the bigger one. He sounded scared.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"OK...N-nice dragon...You're a lovely dragon, aren't you...' I said, nervously.
Drago scoffed.
"Talking to it nicely isn't going to do anything, boy. You have to make them fear you. Watch this... RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!'
Drago's roar echoed, making it a million times louder, and scarier, in my opinion.
The Bewilderbeast roared right back at him.
"HOW DARE YOU ROAR BACK AT ME, BEAST?!?!' he screamed.
"Um, Drago, I don't think it's scared of you...'
"Not yet...' he growled, pushing me aside, and walking up to the Bewilderbeast.
I ran in front of him, blocking his way.
"Drago, no! You'll get yourself killed!'
"Move out of the way, boy...' Drago snarled, dangerously calm.
"No, Drago. I'm not a dragon. I'm a human. You can't just order me about.'
"Can't I?'
"N-no...'
Drago looked over at the dragons, who were growling menacingly at me. He turned back to me.
There was a terrifying silence.
"Drago, if you're going to kill me, do it now.'
Finally, he spoke.
"I'm not going to kill you...yet. I still need you... But when you've outlived your usefulness, your fate will be left to the dragons... And trust me, if what they did to me is anything to go by...' Drago lunged at me, laughing.
'You won't be alive afterwards..."
